Potgietersrus Game Farm Trail

The game and cattle farming country around Mokopane (Potgietersrus) is characteristic Waterberg Bushveld — farm roads through mopane and mixed bushveld with the Thabaphaswa Mountain visible as a prominent landmark to the north. The 25km loop explores the gravel roads through this productive farming landscape on intermediate terrain suitable for regular recreational riders.

What to Expect

Game farm tracks and gravel roads on moderately rolling Waterberg terrain. The Thabaphaswa Mountain — famous for its Nguni cattle farm, MTB trails and boulder camp accommodation — is visible throughout. Wildlife on the surrounding farms including kudu, impala and warthog creates frequent riding interest.
