Eagle Cove 6km Loop

The Eagle Cove 6km Loop is the intermediate option at Kumbagana Game Park’s Eagle Cove trail system — a 6km circuit from the base camp with more terrain variety than the 5km loop, exploring additional kloof and mountain terrain with the steel ladder descents, indigenous forest sections and mountain stream crossings that make the Eagle Cove trails distinctive.

What to Expect

Mountain trails on moderately technical Magaliesberg terrain with rocky sections, ladder descents and stream crossings. More terrain variety than the 5km option. The kloof scenery — 30m steps descending between quartzite rock faces into indigenous forest gorges — is the defining feature of the Eagle Cove experience. Excellent birdlife including the black eagles that give the trail system its name.
