Ottosdal Farmland Loop

Ottosdal sits on the central North West plains near the historically significant Malmani Goldfields area — a gold rush site that predated the Witwatersrand discoveries and gave Ottosdal’s surrounding district an early history in the South African gold mining story. Today it is a quiet agricultural town in the sunflower and maize farming belt. The 22km loop follows gravel farm roads through this productive agricultural landscape on easy, flat terrain.
