Bojanala Bushveld 20km

The extended 20km Bojanala Bushveld loop ventures further into the mopane savanna south and west of Rustenburg — through more remote Bushveld terrain with fewer roads and greater wildlife encounter probability. The Pilanesberg Game Reserve’s large mammal populations overflow into the surrounding communal and private farming areas with elephant, buffalo and lion occasionally sighted outside the park boundary.

What to Expect

Gravel roads and bush tracks on gently rolling Bushveld terrain. The mopane woodland becomes denser and more atmospheric further from town. Impala, kudu, giraffe and the rich Bushveld birdlife of the Bojanala Region create consistent interest throughout the 20km circuit.
