Eye View 12km Loop

The 12km Eye View Loop extends the shorter circuit into the full viewpoint terrain above Hartbeespoort Dam — following mountain roads and tracks to the most dramatic overlook positions on the Magaliesberg’s north-facing slopes above the dam. The Hartbeespoort panorama is one of North West Province’s most celebrated views and this extended loop accesses its finest positions.

What to Expect

Gravel roads and mountain tracks on moderately hilly terrain above the dam. Some technical sections on the mountain approach roads — suitable for riders with basic off-road skills. The views throughout are the primary attraction. The Hartbeespoort Dam area’s density of restaurants and activities makes this an excellent half-day outing.
