Dr Kenneth Kaunda 18km
The 18km extended loop ventures south from Potchefstroom into the farming country of the JB Marks district — gravel roads through Highveld grassland and farm terrain on moderately varied intermediate terrain. The Boskop Dam Nature Reserve on the southern edge of the city provides reserve context for the route’s southern section.
What to Expect
Gravel roads and farm tracks on moderately rolling Highveld grassland terrain. More varied than the 12km city loop with better wildlife and natural landscape interest. The grassland birdlife and the characteristic Highveld agricultural landscape provide a pleasant intermediate riding environment.
