Haenertsburg Village Loop

Haenertsburg is a gem of a village — a small mountain community on the R71 between Polokwane and Tzaneen that has developed a vibrant artisanal food, craft and outdoor culture around its spectacular Magoebaskloof setting. The village is home to South Africa’s northernmost craft brewery (Zwakala), the Cheerio Tea Garden and a community of organic farmers, artists and outdoor enthusiasts. The 12km Village Loop is a gentle introduction to the village and its surroundings.

Easy gravel roads and farm tracks on flat to gently rolling terrain through the Broederstroom valley and surrounding farmland.
