Lehurutshe Savanna Path

The Lehurutshe area is in the north-western North West Province — a rural agricultural and community area on the road between Zeerust and the Limpopo/Botswana corridor. The surrounding dry savanna and thornveld landscape provides gravel road riding through an authentically rural North West environment far from the province’s tourism hotspots.

What to Expect

Easy gravel roads on flat to gently rolling savanna terrain. The dry thornveld of the north-western North West — mopane, camel thorn and the transitional vegetation between the Highveld and the dry western Bushveld — creates a quiet, remote riding environment. An off-the-beaten-path destination for riders wanting to explore North West Province beyond the Magaliesberg corridor.
