Misty Mountain Green Route
The Misty Mountain Green Route is the easiest trail option at this exceptional reserve — a 10km singletrack loop through Eastern Cape fynbos on the Ibika plateau. Smooth, well-maintained singletrack with gentle gradients makes this accessible to beginners and families while still delivering the plateau’s distinctive fynbos scenery and ocean views.
What to Expect
Smooth fynbos singletrack on flat to gently rolling plateau terrain. Technical demands are minimal — the focus is on enjoying the fynbos environment and the views. The endemic fynbos of the Ibika plateau is botanically rich and the plateau edge views toward the Indian Ocean are rewarding on clear days.
